On the device manager page under the monitor tab it say generic pnp Monitor.Would this mean the drivers are not installed ?

I have two VISTA machines one I do what I want and it doesn't run worth a poop, the other I play by Vista's rules and it runs (knock on wood) like a swiss watch.

Second Reason and you will find it in several places on nVidias site a statement that says you should always install windows diver updates for Vista products.

I know someone is going to ask me where on their site is says that and I don't remember. But trust me on this one it does.

You can always call nVidia and verify.
