[Connectivity] HTTP Error 403: Forbidden

I just switched from a pro account to a normal residential account. After 3 days of calls to comcast, I'm online and browsing again. However, I have a scheduled script that grabs an mp3 stream for me to listen at a later time. This script worked fine with the Pro account and does not work now.
I get an HTTP Error 403. Here is a short CPython script that shows the problem

>>> import urllib2
>>> uu = urllib2.urlopen('»evergreen.ablazegroup.com/KUVO/kuvohi.pls')

Traceback (most recent call last):

return _opener.open(url, data)
File "C:\Python24\lib\urllib2.py", line 364, in open

raise HTTPError(req.get_full_url(), code, msg, hdrs, fp)

Any ideas?

You need to talk to whoever is on the far end and see why they're sending back a 403.

I can't connect to terminal services at work anymore. Is this not allowed from a residential account? I'll try the streaming site from work today and post the results back here.

From work the url works as expected:

>>> import urllib2
>>> uu = urllib2.urlopen('»evergreen.ablazegroup.com/KUVO/kuvohi.pls')
>>> uu.readline()
'[playlist]\n'
>>> uu.readline()
'File1=http://denveredu.ic.llnwd.net/stream/denveredu_kuvo_hi\n'
>>> uu.readline()
'Title1=jazz89 KUVO\n'
>>> uu.readline()
'Length1=-1\n'
>>> uu.readline()
'NumberOfEntries=1\n'
>>> uu.readline()
'Version=2\n'

Whatever it's worth, that URL returns me a *404* on a residential account.

I'm having no touble downloading it from my residential comcast connection.

Try the URLs in a browser without the script
