2 edits | Okay all set-up. Installed everything on a different blade from scratch. All the scans are a success with the exception of: Check Web Conferencing Server Virtual Directory Setting. Get the following: URL:»https://example-comm.example.local/etc/p···lank.png ow Received a failure HTTP response.: HTTP Response: 404 Not Found MicrosoftOfficeWebServer:5.0_Pub Content-Length:1635 Content-Type:text/html Date:Tue, 20 Nov 2007 21:04:09 GMT Server:Microsoft-IIS/6.0 X-Powered-By:ASP.NET
Other wise I have no errors on the Address book sync.
Also I have the old pool name in the communications server list and it will not let me right click on it and remove pool. Any ideas how to remove it? Any additional help would be appreciated. -- Team Helix Forum - Join Us? |

2 edits | To try to remove the old pool I did the following: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007>lcscmd /forest /action:removepool /PoolName:example-web
Gets to the end then gives me Error : Invalid action for Standard Edition Server. -- Team Helix Forum - Join Us? |

| Did you uninstall the server or just blow away the box? Glad to see you got rid of the address book error.
Eah ne standard edition server creates a pool and uninstalling should remove that pool. Did you name the server with the same name as the old one?
Also quite honestly with the pool server gone you should not have any issues, its just a cosmetic thing. -- I tie a rope around my penis and jump from a tree, don't you wanna grow up to be just like me!!!! |

| I totally removed the other blade that was first installed and it has been totally reformatted. It was gone out of the rack when the new blade with the current build was installed. The old pool shows in Office Communicator Server on the new build and Best Practices scanner sees it. I tried to remove the pool but that option is greyed out. That is when I ran Lcscmd to try to remove it and it error-ed out. It has to be picking it from Active Directory since everything else is new. No, I didn't name the server the same thing. The other name has to be back in use for the special app and the new name I choose makes more sense to us for the communication server. I don't see any problems just want my pool list correct and clean -- Team Helix Forum - Join Us? |
