They probably figure (correctly) that they can accomplish as much with half the staff, post-reorg. Most telecommuters suck.

2 edits |  SBC never was a big telecommuting proponent and in all the mergers it was SBC that won all the key top mgt posts. So it isn't surprising that AT&T now is retrenching on telecommuting. The company is called AT&T, but it really was SBC that bought all the other companies that now make up the current AT&T. |
