Re: Is there a W2K update to run dual core processors? By default it should use both since it appears to the OS as 2 CPUs. XP and later have some more sophisticated detecgtion and process scheduling for multi-core, but it should utilize both cores under 2k as well.
If this was an existing machine that had a single core machine that had its CPU upgraded you will need to switch the OS from a uniprocessor setup to a multiprocessor setup. |
