Re: Sympatico throttling Bit Torrents now???

It's a Telephone Number. If it's happening to you right now, PM me your number and get it looked at.

Thanks

I do appreciate your time and effort, but there's really no point, I have already canceled with Bell as I am sick of being lied to and spending hours of my time every month, because they have either tried to switch plans, charge me extra for something, or even worse lie about their service.

Where were you when I spent 8rs on the phone friday being lied to. Where were you when I was told to go home at lunch (a 30min drive each way) and call a level 2 tech to see why i was being throttled 24/7. The level 2 tech told me there was nothing he could do and I'd have to live with it?

I, like many others have had enough with bell and they will be loosing more then just an internet customer as I will also be canceling my TV and phone. I hope roping people like this was worth loosing the thousands/ year in TV and phone customers.

Unfortunately it seems you are trying to help, In all honesty, you seem to be the only employee at bell that is trying to help and admits to the throtteling of torrents. But you can only help to a limit as unless you make coporate decisions your hands are also tied.

NoBell

@dsl.bell.ca

I'll just add my 2 cents. I'm also in Ottawa, in the last 4 months I have been charged 3 different amounts, all more than my contract stipulates, spent hours on the phone complaining, now throttling, etc. I would be ok with throttling of p2p at peak hours, but now it's messing with online gaming, video, and radio, this is ridiculous. I'm tired of speaking to their off-shore tech help as well, they don't care.

Problem is, they don't care if we quit. It's a large enough service that a few people here or there won't make a difference. Now they want me to sign a new 1 year contract. Like heck I will. Time to start looking at non-Rodgers, non-Bell options.
