Cablevision was one step ahead of Verizon for years with speed offerings, as you stated. That has now changed and Verizon, for the foreseeable future, will always be ahead of Cablevision now. By the time DOCSIS 3.0 is rolled out Verizon will have upgraded their COs to GPON, so just imagine speed package offerings they could offer then.
As for FIOS TV, my stupid cable commission hasn't approved it for almost 3 years now. I am just happy to have the internet. Hope they get TV out to you in Lindenhurst & your local commission approves FIOS TV, good luck. |
