Unfortunately us here on the site are a minority. Until we start pulling in bigger numbers its not going to impact them. But like it was already mentioned, the people that they are doing this to (us) are the people that are the "tech's" of the family, friends and even companies we work for.
Sure, it's only going to be us that are leaving bell right now. But the potential customers lost by them loosing me as a customer is a lot more then just one account. Times that by everyone here that they have screwed over and you're talking big numbers.
Companies like TSi know this, they know if they get the people like us to come over to their service, they will also be getting the customer base that we as the "teck's" bring with us.
When I am done, my family and friends will no longer be bell sympatico users. We're talking at least 20 people gone all becasue they screwed me over. Lets say an average plan of 40.00/month x 20 people = 800/ month revenue lost = $9600/ year all becasue they decided to mess with my "unlimited high speed". And if i can get them to drop bell as a Tv provider and phone we're talking even more money lost. And I am just one person.
It would have been much cheaper to simply offer the service I paid for in the first place, but too late now. lol |

| I say that they want us to move.
The remaining user base probably uses their high speed connection for email and regular web surfing thus accounting for a fraction of the bandwidth they pay for.
Less bandwidth used is a profit for them, isn't it? |
