Re: got a question about laptop offer Greetings, all. New member, here. Obviously a lot of knowledge that I hope to benefit from. Unfortunately I won't be able to contribute to said knowledge because I'm as thick as a brick when it comes things techy.
But to my point ... About 2 years ago, I did sign a three contract in order to get a laptop for my daughter. I recently contacted Telus about switching to from my present "High Speed Enhanced" to "High Speed Extreme" and was told it would cost me $480.00 to cancel my existing plan. This seems odd, as typically when you upgrade to a better service, there's no charge as long as you commit to another long term contract.
Has anyone else experienced this?
