anon posted : 11/21/07
My school (I am a 6th grade teacher) just gave me a Dell PC Laptop. I currently have an older (read slower) Mac at home connected to my cable modem and would like to be able to switch the connection back and forth between the two. I have been unable to get the PC to read the connection with the internet setup wizard. Is the connection set to only Mac? It seems that the default set up is for a wireless access from a school address -- but shouldn't I be able to override that and have it read the broadband??
(MAC address removed)
