BF is correct. The 80GB model does play PS2 game but does it through software emulation rather than HW based emulation like the 60GB model did.
40GB has neither but does have PSOne emulation. |

The 80gb is more like xbox360 with less than stellar play list of prior games. If you want a PS3 get a 60gb before they are gone and just upgrade the hard drive if it's too small. |

I already have a 20GB model that I got a week after release day then upgraded with a 100GB 7.2K HDD. |
