Primary use WinZip 9.0 SR-1, and 7-Zip for unpacking file formats (e.g. RAR) not supported by WinZip 9.

Long time Winzip user. Started using WinRAR more. 7Zip has a much better compression but still getting used to it's interface.

At home, I use WinRAR. Mainly it is used to extract archives
I've downloaded, but I also use it to create archives as
well. On my system, in its fastest mode, it can compress
a standard DVD5 in around 10 minutes. Of course the
tradeoff is less compression.

At work, I use both the Windows standard zip utility on
one machine, and WinZip on another.

WinRAR for me for many years now. One of the programs I've used for the longest time, and one of the first that gets installed on my machine after a reinstall.

Great poll, thanks.
