| Faulty hardware
From the sounds of it you may have a faulty 2Wire modem or Max box. Those 2Wire modems cause us all sorts of grief, my record is 8 faulty boxes in a row.
Also, if you want to upgrade your internet speed for an extra $15 a month you can get 512kbps/1.5kbsp and they will be forced to run your internet and Max connections on separate lines so any television doesn't effect your bandwidth.
Irritating? Yes, but with bandwidth caps from Accesscomm, Rogers and a few other cable providers in the city I still prefer Saskte, even though they use some poor hardware to implement their service. |
