Re: [Poll] Internet Browser - 2008 Member Choice

I use Firefox 2009 as my main browser and for it's usability with extensions. Opera comes in second for things like video if Firefox chokes on it. I also use IE7 when I absolutely have to. I don't really like it cause of the changes they made to it.

If I have to use IE for anything else, I use the IETab extension for firefox. Works like a charm.

Thanks for the poll, MSeng See Profile!

In Windows it's Firefox and Opera. In Linux it's Firefox, Opera and Konqueror (usually).

If Opera ever develops a decent Ad-Blocking system I'll be glad to use it more. In XP, Proxo does all the work, but in Linux it's hard to deal with. That's really a shame, because it's fast and I like how it renders pages, but the Ad-Blocking is a killer.

Had to vote for "Other" because AVANT was not listed. Looked like I'm the only one using it? Hard to believe! :-(

Use Firefox most of the time, mainly for the built-in spell checker. MSIE7 used occasionally.

Great poll, MSeng.
Tried them all but I like IE6 the best.
Never had any problems with it, security or otherwise.

Thanks for the excellent poll, MSeng!

I voted Opera....although I've been using IE7 a lot lately.

(Also have used Firefox for years, but not much these days).

I voted for Mozilla Firefox and don't plan changing it for awhile as long as it stays this good.

If your choose "Other" than please post your choice so it may be included in the results. Other may also be used if you use a browser shell (e.g. Maxthon)
Other - Maxthon (with IE7)

I also have Firefox installed but primarily use Maxthon
