| reply to Rob A I use Adium and Pidgin/Gaim.
Adium is definitely the best IM client have have yet used, it's well polished, stable and a very good feature set. The only drawback... it doesn't run on Windows. -- Go Leafs Go! |

| reply to Rob A AIM, Google Talk, and Google Hello
People forget that Google runs two chat programs. Google Hello is MUCH faster when sharing files though.

| reply to Rob A I use Aim and Google Talk for my closest and best friends. Otherwise I use Pidgin (the big brother of Gaim, but I didn't feel marking it as Gaim would be right). It runs a second aim account, Yahoo!, MSN, and ICQ for me in one window I can minimize when Outsiders need to talk to me in real time and not email. |

| reply to Rob A Great Poll Rob!
I voted AIM simply because it was usually the only way I could contact my 'kids' when they were away from home. (Seems everyone used it back then).
VERY rarely even use an IM client these days...suppose I still keep it around, well, 'just cuz'. -- I had a life once.....now I have a Computer and a Modem. |
