It's a boy!
Tonight we went to my Mom's work (she's a labor/delivery nurse) to get an early ultrasound done. We weren't expecting to really find out the gender, just how far along the baby is. After about five minutes of "Ooohing" and "Aaawing", there it was. Proof beyond a reasonable doubt. We all saw it. The doctor even said herself, "Oh, that's a MAN!" I did my own version of the happy dance.
It was simply amazing being able to see the baby move so much! His arms and legs were just jumping all over the place. The doctor said the pushing on Katie's stomach and the sound waves from the ultrasound was stimulating many of his movements.
We're going to have another ultrasound done in a few weeks, done by a more sophisticated machine which can read the anatomy of the baby. Katie and I want to hear two words: healthy and normal. I could clearly see his two arms, two legs, ten fingers, ten toes, his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. And of course, his winky.
I'm a happy daddy. Our boy! | Sucking his thumb. | Once the doctor saw that, she exclaimed..."Oh, that's a MAN!" |

TEST: POSITIVE
This time around, there was no mention of the "A" word. Instead, we're hearing the "C" word... CONGRATULATIONS
When I'm done gleefully dancing and prancing with joy all over, I'll post about everything. Here's the proof, two just to be sure. |

MY LIFE: or something like it PT. II
Well, so it seems that I can't add a new entry to my existing Journal, as it says the topic is "way too old." Ok, not a problem. Here's the "Way Too Old Journal"...»MY LIFE: or something like it | posted Saturday November 24th, @06:45PM
