I don't mind banner adds so much, if there not strobing any annoying. Pop ups are annoying as well. But what really made my find ad-block plus was when ads started having animatings and going all over the webpage you went to and you had to search for the x to turn it off, thats when i decided it just too much and actively looked for something to block them out all together.
