kopidog1989 : i use streamyx and am experiencing the very popular problem ---> slow and inconsistent download speed on bitorrent clients. the below info may prove useful for the pros...=):

- i live in ss19/4E, subang jaya, malaysia.
- i am using utorrent.
- my streamyx package is the 512kbps package.
- i get inconsistent download speed, sometimes 0-5, sometimes 10-20, and sometimes 40, but never 50 and above. i noticed that the lower download speeds most commonly occur when most seeders and peers are from other countries, while higher download rates are achieved when peers are from malaysia, generally.
- i have forwarded the ports correctly, and my utorrent is showing a green tick at the bottom.
- encryption enabled, obviously.

i am aware of the connection shaping by tmnet, though i still hope that there is a way to solve or rather avoid this misfortune. i just hope my download speed can be consistent and working how it should, and i do hope that someone out there is able to offer some useful assistance. thank you all! =)
