Re: Compete Qwest! And win us !

I seriously doubt Qwest, especially after a nation wide fiber deployment, could or would sell you 20/5 for anything near $49.99 a month.

Right now, Comcast is enjoying squashing Qwest day after day.. and, too easily Comcast can pound Qwest into the ground if they tried to one up them too much too fast.
Comcast can't compete with verizon Fios or Utopia, how could they compete with Qwest if they decided to do it?? You would see a complete exit left of Comcast customers in Denver to Qwest if Qwest actually decided to do this. Who doesn't want the speeds and prices? Fios pricing is:
15/15 $64.99
15/2 $49.99

There is just no way Comcast could compete with that...15 SYMETRICAL!!!!! at $66- ?? Heck, that is almost the cost of a downgraded service when you don't have a bundle as it is!

If it is any consolation, I work for the contracting company that holds the Colorado Qwest contract and we are working on a large scale FTTN effort in Denver (surrounding areas) and Colo Sprgs. They have dedicated huge quantities of materials to this project and I think you will see some monster leaps in line quality and product availability in the near future at least in these markets. If you had any idea of the TRUE cost to make this project go you would simply fall over backwards.
