I don't think we want to do every themed role.. That's typically just additional flavor on top of standard themes.
Although I like getting the themes in the FAQ.. I googled something today expecting to end up on mafiascum, but the top link was our faq

Dez did most of the "role" FAQ's.
And the thread I started, I will mess with in the FAQ's once we have enough posts.
I liked Sarah's idea of having one FAQ for the roles and putting them into categories.
Now giving the roles the backgrounds and things.. I'm not into that. But if someone else wants to tackle that, I will be more than happy to add that as well when I get the FAQ done.

I have all of my old docs. I can make a FAQ using all of the docs that I have of all of my old documents and I have used probably the majority of the roles out there....

Each role doesn't need its own FAQ, but if you named each role, gave its background, and described it, I think that would make for a nice, beefy section of the FAQ. It's a non-trivial amount of more work, but it's far more useful than a thread which will eventually fall off the front page of the forum and then be useful to no one. |

We could have one FAQ for "roles used in DSLR mafia games" or something, I think it would be a bit much to have a FAQ entry for every single role we ever came up with. But it would be nice to have a reference like that. We could have subcategories like investigative roles, killing roles, protective roles, etc. to make it easier to find stuff.

I know the FAQ's have the basic roles.. mafia, cop, doc. Just didn't want to do a separate FAQ for each unusual role.
Sounds fine to me. Let's start a thread and I'll FAQ it later. (kinda sounded dirty didn't it?!   )

Do you think we could do a thread with the roles that the mods have used before??
I know in the game I did, I modified some roles, but basically stuck to what I found online about them.
Just thought it may be useful to have all the roles in one thread.
What cha guys/gals think?
