ok, I had asked Muz if anyone had worked on a Stalag 17 mod, and he said no. I see why, none of you whipper snappers would have heard of it.
On the serious side, if I do something crazy and try to work up a game, wouldn't it be nice to have a suggestion box? or an "help" area?

Do you think we could do a thread with the roles that the mods have used before??
I know in the game I did, I modified some roles, but basically stuck to what I found online about them.
Just thought it may be useful to have all the roles in one thread.
What cha guys/gals think?

Sounds fine to me. Let's start a thread and I'll FAQ it later. (kinda sounded dirty didn't it?!   )

| We could have one FAQ for "roles used in DSLR mafia games" or something, I think it would be a bit much to have a FAQ entry for every single role we ever came up with. But it would be nice to have a reference like that. We could have subcategories like investigative roles, killing roles, protective roles, etc. to make it easier to find stuff.

Each role doesn't need its own FAQ, but if you named each role, gave its background, and described it, I think that would make for a nice, beefy section of the FAQ. It's a non-trivial amount of more work, but it's far more useful than a thread which will eventually fall off the front page of the forum and then be useful to no one. |

I have all of my old docs. I can make a FAQ using all of the docs that I have of all of my old documents and I have used probably the majority of the roles out there....

Dez did most of the "role" FAQ's.
And the thread I started, I will mess with in the FAQ's once we have enough posts.
I liked Sarah's idea of having one FAQ for the roles and putting them into categories.
Now giving the roles the backgrounds and things.. I'm not into that. But if someone else wants to tackle that, I will be more than happy to add that as well when I get the FAQ done.

Although I like getting the themes in the FAQ.. I googled something today expecting to end up on mafiascum, but the top link was our faq

Cool just say when. You might want to wait to start by modding a C9 or something close to a C9 game....maybe a bit more...
