Who else in Bedford has crappy service?

Since the change from Suddenlink to Jetbroadband occurred here, our service has been crappy. Up and down, etc. Have called TS about the spotty and inconsistent speed of the connection and all they seem to think that there is a problem on our end...I don't buy that crapola. Suddenlink from the get-go supplied consistent connection speeds from the day that we signed up with them...Nary a hitch in the gitty-up...Quite good.
What I want to know is if there are any others here in Bedford who are experiencing what we are. We pay good money for the service claimed to be provided, but to date, the performance is seriously lacking...to put mildly.
I think that our local government has to address this: they sanctioned this company to provide cable access to the citizens of the city/county and if we can't get the service that is promised we ought to contact the officials concerning this.
We can't be alone in this...

The service has been poor EVERY SINGLE DAY FROM 3PM TO 12AM since around July 12th of this year. They have given numerous excuses and times when it would be fixed, all have turned out to be BS.

Current estimate from them is the end of the year, citing bandwidth capacity problems.

There are other threads with detailed info. My advice is switch to DSL if you can. Mine should be active today or tomorrow.

Not an option for us as we live just north of the city of Bedford and Verizon has been stonewalling for years about providing DSL in our area. So....long story short we still have access with dialup that is more consistant than jetcrap. I am going to contact my County Supervisor and let him know what I think about this situation. This sucks to noooooooooo end!

Another option would be to contact the News & Advance or one of the TV stations. Sometimes they like "consumer watch" stories. 6 months of pathetic service may make a good story.
