HiVolt posted : No Bell fimrmware sets the IP to 192.168.254.254. I highly doubt it's Bell firmware, its probably for another ISP and is preconfigured as such.

You can make it work, you just need to reconfigure the Virtual Circuit. I can post step by step directions when I get home to my 6520.
--
GO LEAFS GO!

buggage posted : Which update exactly? I don't see a 6520 update on their site...

Since you can access the modem, You probably just need to adjust the VPI/VCI values to match the 0/35 that Bell uses.

anon posted : Hi, My Hero (whoever responds)

I recently updated my firmware to the one given on bell. thus i lost the yellow pages it came with when i typed in 192.168.2.1. Along with that it also changed the default ip to 192.168.254.254. I changed it back during to 192.168.2.1 but STILL CANNOT CONNECT TO BELL. On the main page it says UP so i know the connection between the modem and the computer is fine. I also have an older Alcatel modem which works fin with a router so i know my settings are still good...FOr the love of god help. When i run the diagnostic all pass except when ISP is involved
