No Bell fimrmware sets the IP to 192.168.254.254. I highly doubt it's Bell firmware, its probably for another ISP and is preconfigured as such.

You can make it work, you just need to reconfigure the Virtual Circuit. I can post step by step directions when I get home to my 6520.
