Not all Governments subsidize the isp , in New Zealand for instance government demanded the telco upgrade to all its customers in other Asian countries the government owns the telco and just how many people actually have phone service not to mention broad band ?
bigiinsc, you been out of your neck of the woods? I mean out of the US? You ask how many people in Asia have phone service - probably a very high percentage. My experience in Australia and S.E. Asia was a real surprise.
