[TW] Any TW/Earthlink speed upgrades coming ???

I know that by last 2 years usually in December there was free speed upgrade for users of TW/Earthlink cable in nyc. Of course Earthlink never heard about any upgrades Anyway how about this holiday season ??? Anybody heard about any speed upgrades ??? Usually my speed are good now and they are around 14 mbps/ 512kpbs. So will be there next jump like to 20mbps/ 1 mbps upload ??? I hope that soon I will apply for fios so i will switch without any questions.

I have had EL dsl for 10 years with best speeds 900K to 1.2. When I call TW Roadrunner to inquire about speeds and prices, they can only tell me that I can get "up to" 6M download speed. They can never tell me the average real world speed, and I don't know how to look for it in these forums. Any suggestions?

I am In Sherman Oaks, CA 91401.

take the speedtest, at the end you can find some options to see what speeds are being reported in your area by ISP. Use roadrunner since it will be the same as Earthlink Cable anyway.
