I can confirm this a bit because a guy in our office was doing a report on which of our numbers were being gobbled up by the adult phone entertainment biz. One popular number that used to be posted here (and is in some FAQ's still) was the 1-800-NET-HELP.

Call that number now and see what you get!

needless to say it's a service alright, probably not the one you are looking for!
