Oh my God what a howler, I have to do this with my AV remote at home, all full of Dorito's nacho goo.
Now thats just nasty... how about you wipe your hands off before you touch your remote. Problem solved! I can't stand it when my roommate uses the remote to our TV. It's always got this greasy/slick feeling to it. I have to wipe it off for a few minutes to get it back to its "clean" feeling. I'm getting sick to my stomach just thinking about it.
