| DirecTV Needs to Step It Up
Anyone not in Austin should know there has been an all out PR blitz between TW and NFL over distribution rights of the NFL Channel.
What's wierd about this is I heard a reporter on KLBJ 590 state that the game was `only available on Dish Network`. Interesting, I have DirecTV and I watched the game in HD on 212-1. Later I heard a radio spot from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones saying that a future game was unavailable on the local cable stations so call up Dish Network and subscribe.
Wow... now I know where the `reporters` are getting their PR from.
DirecTV really missed out on this one. They should have been beating the streets getting subscribers.
As for AT&T... nice to see they keep paying off our elected officials. |
