Part of the merger process was the application to the FCC to approve the merger because of the existing license restrictions. |

Bankruptcy of one would be better The real shame is that even if one of these companies went bankrupt, then their spectrum would be available for a new competitor. If they merge, you can bet they won't be freeing up any spectrum.
