Technology is improving all the time. By this time next year, used first-generation iphones will be on eBay for pennies on the dollar. Shoot, they whacked the price of a new one 33% the first few months it was out.
By the way, the computer you are reading this message on will soon be replaced with a better, faster one, if it hasn't already.
