Re: LOL

No... you don't bitch about it and simply buy from one of a million other dial up companies out there.

But I do have to agree with you... AT&T, SBC, PacBell, Bell Souwf, et all, have been extremely slow in deploying services.

In Sacramento CA, right south of Down Town, is this HUGE pocket area, some older but a lot of newer homes, and it STILL can't get DSL since the central offices were built on the furthest sides of each community. They've promised for years to put in an RT but no luck. Just one example...

actualy i was in this situation I moved from an AT&T area that had DSL to on that did not and they discounted my dial-up because they did not offer dsl. They only charge higher to the folks that can get dsl if they want it, not to the people that can not get dsl from them.

To hell with it

The way I see it, to hell with it. I live so far out, I cant get DSL, all I can get is dial up. Because of this price increase, I will be switching from AT&T to a local provider. Which is ok with me, because all AT&T can seem to get me is 28.8 when other providers here can get me as much as 38.6 So, to hell with AT&T, busters....
