Cheaper?

I'm sure most customers on at&t dial-up that can get DSL have had many invitations to do so by at&t. At&t will certainly not lose ALL of their dial-up only customers doing this. IF that is what they wanted to do, wouldn't this make it more expensive if they lose more customers then they gain by raising rates. Unless they move to an 800 dial in #, they would still have to maintain local dial-up setups would they not?
