Even when AT&T do raise prices, some people just won't switch over.
For example, just look at AOL dial-up users. AOL charges some of the highest prices in the industry for dial-up, yet people continue to use it.
I view it as sort of like the "cigarette tax". Smokers grumble, but pay it anyways.
Yet, dial-up certainly is not addictive!
Of course they grumble, after the lung damage that's all they can do.
