This computer would need to be on a broadband connection.

So while I take my laptop with me places along with my MJ, could could just take the MJ with you if you had access to a computer where you were going. You would plug the MJ in, and after a small software installation, you'd be on your way.

Now, you said you have VoIP for your phones. That's great, and it won't be affected by the MJ at all. The MJ itself is VoIP, and will work on your machine completely independent of your current VoIP phone system.

For example, right now, we have 3 Vonage lines (VoIP) and this one MJ line. All works great.
--
And so castles made of sand, slip into the sea, eventually.

I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me.
anon : My MJ arrived yesterday; however, I'm still not sure how to use it. Appreciate your help. Question: From reading your post, it seems like if I want to use Mj away from my home,I will need to take my notebook with me, is that right? Or, can I plug MJ into any computer? Also, I have Voice Over Internet Protocol(VOIP). Will Mj work with VOIP?
