Qualcomm will still be a big Verizon vendor

That vision was backed by Verizon Wireless CTO Dick Lynch, who told RCR Wireless News that the carrier’s LTE plans would be based on a new network and that its CDMA-based network would continue operating into the foreseeable future.
Even Verizon agrees that CDMA will be around for quite awhile, which an analyst sees as at least 5 years. And if Qualcomm will be selling LTE equipment and chips, then their existing Verizon contacts should result in them still getting a lot of Verizon business.
