how to create a service in redhard / fedora

I tried searching google but obviously did not use the right terminlogy... sorry

So - can anyone give me a quick how to or a good simple link to how to make a system service in redhat - fedora?

I have a bash script that loops infinantly.

I want to do:
#service myservicename start

I usually use one of the files in /etc/rc.d/init.d as an example (i.e. anacron) which shows a basic startup using /etc/rc.d/init.d/functions (e.g.'daemon', 'killproc', etc.)

did you put a trailing ampersand in the script?

service myservicename start &

Hoss: that makes no sense

./script.sh & = YES
service script start & just makes no sense

noam: search google for "Fedora init script" or use the "bootup / shutdown" module of webmin.
