Re: Trading Post Purchased the FT-1802 from John. It arrived in excellent shape due to being very well packed. The radio was programmed for the local repeaters and the reports have all been excellent. I would buy from John again. Good packaging and excellent communications. |

I'm not picky, Doesnt need a speaker, but the audio out has to work. Obviously the Mic jack will need to work and the radio should transmit. Commercial or ham gear as long as it will tune the APRS frequency (144.39). I'm planning on APRS in my car for storm spotting this summer.

Its just going in my trunk, so i'm not looking for anythin fancy.

Re: Trading Post I have a Yeasu VX-5 for sale. Here's the description: The Yaesu VX-5R is a triple band (6M, 2M & 440 MHz) HT with extensive receive coverage, and leading-edge features. It receives the AM and FM broadcast bands, shortwave (AM) to 16 MHz, VHF and UHF TV audio, VHF Air and public service frequencies. The specific ranges covered are: 0.5-16, 47-729 and 800-999 (less cellular). The die-cast aluminum housing, augmented by an extensive gasketing system sets a new standard for water resistance among amateur HTs. This robust construction has earned it a MIL-STD 810 rating.
The supplied FNB-58LI 7.2 V 1100 mAh Lithium-ion battery provides 5 watts out on 6M and 2M and 4.5 watts on 440 MHz. Features include: 16 digit 9 memory DTMF autodialer, CTCSS/DCS, 220 memories, aluminum die-cast case and 8 character alphanumeric display.
At only 2.3 x 3.4 x 1.1 inches (58x87x28 mm) it will go with you everywhere. The VX5R comes with SMA Antenna, FNB-58LI Lithium Ion Battery, NC-72B Battery Charger, Belt Clip and Wrist Strap.
Features 220 Alpha Memories AM/FM BCB SW to 16 MHz CTCSS/DCS European Tone Burst Wideband Receive Dual Watch ARTS-Automatic In-Range Transponder Backlit Keypad & LCD
Electronically, this radio is 10+. Physically, this had been my favorite radio with some wear to show it, and is probably about a 7 or an 8, with some scratches on the edges of the radio. I'm including the original box.
This radio includes the Yaesu SU-1 barometric module which provides both barometric pressure and altitude measuring capability, and has been MARS/CAP modified. I'm also including a MFJ-295 hand held microphone. Originally with accessories, this would have gone for around $280, I'm asking $150 plus shipping for the package. Prefer paypal, will ship within 48 hours on a weekday via Fedex ground.

I'm selling an honestly like new ICOM IC-746PRO. The unit was purchased new and used very lightly, then replaced in the original packaging. Not a scratch or mark anywhere, non-smoking environment. Includes PS-125 DC Power Supply and original hand-held mic never unwrapped. No modifications, no issues, truly pristine condition.
These are going for $1100 +/- on QRZ, I'm asking $950 plus shipping.

KeysCaptPremium,Ex-Mod 2002-13 join:2001-07-11 Keys Exile kudos:1 | I have an ICOM IC-91a that I have never used, except for initially futzing around with it a little. It is like new except for the acrylic face, which was scratched by some errant keys that managed to end up in the same pocket. Box, charger, manual etc.
Make a reasonable offer via PM if interested. |
