Re: Trading Post Purchased the FT-1802 from John. It arrived in excellent shape due to being very well packed. The radio was programmed for the local repeaters and the reports have all been excellent. I would buy from John again. Good packaging and excellent communications. |

Looking for a mobile 2m rig (40 watts or more).
I'm not picky, Doesnt need a speaker, but the audio out has to work. Obviously the Mic jack will need to work and the radio should transmit. Commercial or ham gear as long as it will tune the APRS frequency (144.39). I'm planning on APRS in my car for storm spotting this summer.

Electronically, this radio is 10+. Physically, this had been my
favorite radio with some wear to show it, and is probably about a 7 or
an 8, with some scratches on the edges of the radio. I'm including the
original box.
This radio includes the Yaesu SU-1 barometric module which provides
both barometric pressure and altitude measuring capability, and has
been MARS/CAP modified. I'm also including a MFJ-295 hand held microphone.
Originally with accessories, this would have gone for around $280, I'm

Comes with all the allen wrenches (2), the two little pieces of aluminum (for the small tap screws), low-loss coax 16.5' terminating to a PL-259, NMO antenna needed.
Used only once, don't really like it.

kudos:1 | I have an ICOM IC-91a that I have never used, except for initially futzing around with it a little. It is like new except for the acrylic face, which was scratched by some errant keys that managed to end up in the same pocket. Box, charger, manual etc.
