Been too lazy to change my default DNS servers ever since I got the Netopia; but no DNS outages here. -- I have achieved 3 meg , fastpath sync on a 15,700 ft. 26 ga copper line. =]
Yep, there is no greater frustration then knowing that the dns servers are down, but not having written down alternate ones then calling every friend you know until you find one that is next to a computer and looks up opendns's ip for you.
Finally got the darn thing working, up yours at&t for sucky dns servers
