And it doesn't get any dumber than the incident in question. At worst, it belongs in the D'Oh! files. I can think of a million other consumer issues I'd rather be incensed about before I'd get prickly about a 900# screw up.
I'm only going to buy Linksys from now on. More companies would do well to learn from this particular brand of 'end user support'
Banks, Insurance, and Phone companies come to mind right away. I mean, if you're going to get jerked around anyways, you might as well get really jerked around and enjoy it.
