tup : I have used Limewire with XP for several years and now with Vista for a year without problems. However, Limewire recently wouldn't connect (all those patches from MS this month?). I checked all the settings, router, uninstalled java and Limewire and reinstalled both without success. Finally, I used the fix from "baysmi" above and downloaded the patch from 'pieceofcake." It worked perfectly. :D
