Re: That's Why I use Treewalk

I used Treewalk when I had XP systems. When I switched to Vista on new computers Treewalk didn't support Vista, though some people said they created workarounds to get it working.

Does Treewalk now support Vista without making a kludge setup?
EDIT: I just checked treewalk forums and they still don't have a vista version.

But since I went to Vista I have used Opendns servers without any problems at all.

LOL...I refuse to get Vista so I guess you are correct.
I still use 2000 and XP.

Vista is a piece of bloated software.
I've got Vista and Fedora Core 6 - 64bit on the same machine...
My old Windows 2000 on an AMD 1.2GHz with 512MB ram ran circles around Vista.. there's just so much junk. Caching directories, automatic defrags, virus scans... it ends up bogging down the machine quite a bit, and I have to restart / kill apps.
Fedora Core 6 / 64bit is very fast.
W2K was decent as well, but my old hardware failed.
