Slippery slope

I would think the ISP lawyers would balk at implementing any kind of "policeware" as it would likely open them (the ISP) to any number of potential lawsuits for not policing other traffic. Afterall, if they are capable of filtering illegal movies, why can't they filter other illegal and harmful content? It's a slippery slope and we (the consumers) are bound to pay the price for the fool who tries to walk that slope.
