How's Alaska?

Well, how's Alaska 22-hour nighttimes yet?

Hmmm I seem to be the only poster from Alaska in here now!!

The nights are ok...you get used to them. We have LOTS of broadband up here. I use a 1500/256 cable connection now, lotsa DSL services, and larger pipes (VERY spendy for larger).

Skipdawg I was in the USMC during the same time period you were in (1984-1989).

I don't really live in North Pole, I just went there to visit during the holidays and was snowed in... I've been stuck here over two months and haven't seen the sun yet!

Actually I grew up in Kodiak AK where the sun always came up during the winter for at least 5 or 6 hours.
