My guess is that with the recent "price for life" push they have plans to offer a speed increase in the near future. Of course it will be a higher price and you will need to break your "price for life" plan to get the speed increase. --
Nah, they've always allowed for upgrades, and even downgrades, in service. They've even been mostly sensible about when and when not to hold people to the ETFs.
