The best wine is up here in Mendocino County, we call it Napa without the crowds (as well as the stuffy types)

In fact, I live right in the heart of one of the best viticultural areas around, Redwood Valley just north of Ukiah. You guys can have it all though, I don't drink
Besides wine, Mendocino County has some of the most beautiful and unspoiled coastline, mountains, rivers, lakes, forests and of course some of the last groves of Old-Growth Redwoods (an excellent way to see them is via the Skunk Train from Willits to Fort Bragg), including the tallest tree (The Mendocino Tree) in the world. It truly is God's Country up here!
Edit-If you do brave Napa Valley, make sure and take a ride on the Wine Train!

Some of you may notice yourself back in familiar territory, where it all started, and like so many pieces of legislation, this topic has rolled back into DC to slowly fade away. If you need a lift back home, Rxdoxx has graciously offered to pay your airfare (but he gets the frequent flier miles). Actually, this whole topic was a big ruse to accommodate his next vacation.
