I use VLC in place of WMP 11 now since I haven't been able to fix a hanging problem after reverting back to WMP 10 and then back to 11 because of more problems. In the process of doing so most of my media files became corrupt and would not play on any player.

Very nice poll.

I voted for Foobar2000 for music, VLC for video, and Windows Media Player 11 just because it came with the system and I have used it on occasion.

My other is XMMS. I think I covered my Windows, Mac, and Linux players with the rest of my vote.

I primarily use WMP 11 but when it refuses to play certain files I use VLC which would play anything

Thanks for the Excellent Poll Steve!

I have several of the Media Players mentioned (and have used many others in the past), but I voted WMP 11 as my primary Media Player. Yep, that's right.

Regardless of what many may think, I feel it does a lot of 'stuff' really well.
