Shooting For A Cause: Calendars On Sale Now!

Well, after one last late night and a frantic resizing and re-uploading of images, I got the calendars up and ready to be sold. So head on over to »www.ShootingForACause.com/2008/ and buy one (or two, or three, or four) today!

While you're there, click on the Spread The Word tab to see how you can tell more people about the calendars. Also click on the Credits tab to see a list of people responsible for getting the calendars out the door. (I apologize in advance if I forgot anybody, but I think I covered it all.)

I'll probably post weekly sales figures for the first month and then monthly sales figures thereafter. Our goal is to raise $1,000 for The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Since they get $5 per calendar sold, that means our goal is 200 calendars sold. Let's see how quickly we can hit that number!

Thanks again, everyone for all of your help and wonderful photos!

EDIT: Apparently CafePress is having a sale. Free shipping on orders $75 or more. Use the coupon code "SHIP07" (no quotes) until December 9th.

Thanks! You just placed our first order.

Quick note to FireFox users, there's a CSS bug in my template code that's causing the calendar description to overrun the box. It's nothing serious, shouldn't affect your purchasing abilities, and definitely wouldn't affect the calendar itself. I'm going to fix it as soon as I can. (Might not be until the weekend though.)

EDIT: Nevermind. I just fixed the CSS issue.

It appears to be a problem with the site - page load problems.

Doesn't matter which browser.. I was able to finally get one month to load fully though.. Could be a routing issue between my place and there but, I'm a VZ DSL user in NJ and I typically do not have any issues..

Here's a screen capture of what's happening.. Thought you would like to know in case people want to see what they're buying, etc..

I haven't been able to replicate this in either IE or FireFox. Did you try clearing your cache and then trying it again? If others aren't having similar problems, I'd suspect that the problem is local (router , computer, or browser issue) and not with the site.

Fantastic from start to finish and so luch work put into these works of art, all of them. I just found out mine was amongst them, but even had it not been, there is really just too much to be said for the many that are here and you guys that did all the work. I get chills just knowing that you are part of my on-line family! Thank you so much, each and every one of you:

Wayne GphFX, ErthBndAngel, Jason Levine, Pretorious, tmpchaos, Justin, and Tracey and the entire staff of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

In our own little way, perhaps an image of a no longer missing or exploited child will be something we will see and can feel that we all played some very small part in helping.
