Alternatives Yah!

Here in Sacramento, AT&T (former SBC, formerly PacBell) has very few COs and RTs so nearly everyone lives far from the fiber connection. AT&T also has this policy of not servicing any home too far from their handful of CO/RTs. At 18,000 feet, AT&T wouldn't touch my home but DSLExtreme.com was happy to provide 768/384 service (not bad for the distance) as a backup to my Comcast HSI. DSLExtreme also is not in the business (so far) of filtering or other shenanigans over file sharing. Anyone upset with AT&T pro MPAA policies should investigate who else can install DSL on their line. There are a number of company's that will like DSLExtreme, Covad, etc.
