had CDV installed on monday....they showed up at 7:45 for a 3-5pm appt. Idiots at Comcast issued me a phone number still owned by verizon...took tech 45 minutes to get new phone number activated...he was so rushed in setting things up after being on hold with his own people...wasn't till next day i realized he messed up my router so i did the "old" powercycle routine by unplugging it all...a big NO NO that I wasn't told about with the new CDV and Arris modem...Thanks for all the good info Comcast....NOT...so now 3 days until a tech can come out....I just hope I don't need 911 phone line is DEAD! I had Vonage for 2 years not one single problem....unless it was Comcast and the internet being down...think carefully before switching to Comcast Digital Voice |
